A Christian is always in the process of becoming, never in the state of having become. The Christian life is not being pious but becoming pious, not being healthy but becoming healthy, not being but becoming, not rest but exercise. We are not yet [what we are to be], but we are becoming it. It is not yet done and has not yet happened. It is, however, going on and coming to be. It is not the end, but it is the way. — Martin Luther
Before Christianity was known as Christianity, it was called by some “the Way.” Indeed, Jesus is our way to both abundant and eternal life; one that begins now and reaches fullness with Christ’s promised return. There’s joy on this journey especially when we travel as one body as God designed. So please strive to regularly join us for worship, fellowship and service. Participate in our many bible studies and educational programs. It’s a means to an end. It will help us all grow in faith, hope and love. It leads us to become what we were created and called to be – Christ’s church together.
