We offer an opportunity to experience God anew…

The apostle Paul taught about “faith active in love.” The Holy Spirit decks each of us out with gifts, skills, talents, and passions – and opportunities to use them! Check below to see how Messiah keeps faith and love active both in the building and in the community.

In the Building…

Christian Formation for All Ages:
We offer faith formation opportunities for all ages every Sunday morning at 9:15am. We have classes
for preschool through high school, and Pastor Ryan leads a topical study for adults. This discussion is
then shared on our YouTube channel, Facebook, and by member email blasts on Wednesdays the
following week.

Women’s Bible Study:
This lay-led group meets at Messiah in our fellowship hall twice a month in the evening. Group
consensus helps determine the topic and style of the gathering.

Youth Offerings:
In addition to Sunday Christian Formation, we have regular youth groups for middle- and high-school
students, and we organize and encourage participation in Synod youth events and more.

First Communion and Confirmation classes are offered when youth are of age.

Choir:
We have an adult choir that practices one time a week to lead hymns and provide special music.

Patches and Love:
We have a quilting group that meets twice a month to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief as well as
local organizations.

Special Services and Seasonal Studies:
Throughout the year, special worship services are conducted along with special studies and other
activities during Advent and Lent.
